Support coordinators, occupational therapists, allied health clinicians and disability professionals are invited to our Wyong Vertical Village Open Day. Come and see what Supported Independent Living (SIL) can look like.

At Wyong, members have their own self contained apartment, with their own front door, kitchen and bathroom. Support is shaped around each person's individual NDIS plan and Roster of Care, with the opportunity to be part of a connected community.

What happens on the day

Tour the village and the apartments, meet the team and learn how the Vertical Village model works in practice, including who it may suit.

You will also hear from Sarah Kelly, Occupational Therapist, on changes in SIL practice and compliance expectations, and how we are applying them within our Vertical Village model.

Whether you are supporting someone exploring SIL now, or you simply want to understand SIL options on the Central Coast better, it is a chance to ask questions, get to know the people behind the service and connect with other professionals over lunch.

Who is welcome

The day is built for professionals, and people exploring SIL for themselves are warmly welcome, along with their families and carers.
