Fuel your day
- Mase Cafe, a local favourite for brunch, from pancakes to a full big breakfast.
- Brimo's Cafe and Restaurant, Italian and Middle Eastern favourites across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- The Coolibah Hotel, classic pub food, quiet coffee by day, trivia and karaoke at night.
Get active
- Merrylands Park, walking trails, shady picnic spots and a playground.
- Auburn Botanic Gardens, a native rainforest garden, rose garden, lake, barbecues, an aviary and an equal access playground. The Cherry Blossom Festival each August is worth a visit.
- Merrylands Swim Centre, a heated fifty metre outdoor pool, a heated children's pool and swimming lessons.
- Merrylands Bowling Club, a social game of bowls and a good meal.
Shop til you drop

Connect with your community

- Granville Centre Art Gallery, a short bus ride away, with exhibitions, events and education programs.
Accessibility and local support
Cumberland City Council runs a Lifestyle and Leisure Links program for NDIS participants aged 18 to 64, with activities from horse riding and indoor cricket to concert trips and cruises. Council staff can also point you to accessible facilities and local disability services.
A village in the heart of Merrylands
Our Merrylands village pairs private apartments with shared spaces that people actually use. Unlike most options, we offer one, two and three bedroom apartments, which matters when a partner, child or family member is part of the picture.
Living areas and kitchens are spacious and accessible, and wide doorways, ramps, accessible bathrooms and current assistive technology mean the whole home is usable. Two large communal rooftops carry most of the shared life, from a barbecue to a quiet coffee with a neighbour.
Living beyond the apartment
Merrylands is welcoming, well connected and full of things to do. If you would like to walk through the apartments and see the neighbourhood for yourself, just ask and we will set it up.
