A northern Adelaide shared home with a separate granny flat, support on site and shops and transport close by.

Our shared home at Para Vista is a three bedroom house with two bathrooms in a quiet street in Adelaide's north east, with a separate granny flat at the rear for a member who wants more of their own space. Each member has their own bedroom, with the kitchen, living area and garden shared with a small number of housemates.

Support is delivered to each member's own NDIS plan and Roster of Care, and shops, buses and everyday services are close by.

Who this home suits

  • You are looking for a long term home in Adelaide's north east, not a short stay.
  • You have NDIS funding for Supported Independent Living (SIL).
  • You would rather share a house with a small number of housemates than live on your own.
  • You want your own bedroom you can set up your way, with shared living spaces close by.
  • You are living with an acquired brain injury, a mild to moderate intellectual disability, a stable psychosocial disability, or autism with moderate to higher support needs.
  • You want support that flexes with you, from a little help each day through to a high level of assistance.
  • You like being close to shops, buses and everyday services.

Support on site

Support here is delivered to each member's own NDIS plan and Roster of Care, so what you get is based on your plan, not on the house. Members here have a wide range of support needs, from a little help each day through to a higher level of assistance, and staffing is set up to match, including one to one support where a plan funds it. A small, consistent team of support workers looks after the same members, so the people supporting you know you well and you are not meeting someone new every shift. We help with the everyday things, cooking, shopping, appointments and getting out, and we work alongside your support coordinator and any allied health team you already have.
